Marcos Bocayuva was nice enough to invite me for an interview on his show Ondas Sonoras on OiFM. Im not sure whet time it starts.. you may have to listen to OiFM all day to catch it. This isnt a bad thing, OiFM is an amazing station... The RADIO GODS are smiling.

We have been invited to perform an acoustic set in Balneário Camboriú (Santa Catarina). The show is for the inaugural party for the launch of Power-Horse Energy Drink in Brazil. At the moment, it is VIP only but we are working on getting some additional tickets for some fans in the area. More to come.

After a long time of editing, re-editing and making changes upon changes, the photo project entitled "Coches" will be launched in December 2011. The project features images of automobiles on the streets of Buenos Aires. It is a collection which captures the energy of the culture and people of Argentina though their means of transport. The photos, taken in the summer (northern hemisphere summer) of 2010 will be available as poster prints. I look forward to sharing them with you.

This is a sad moment for me. I was informed a few days ago that a great person had left this earth last month. His name is Fonthor de Luca and he was an amazing artist and true gentleman. I met Fonthor at his home where he was kind enough to host the entire crew of the video production for the video clip SAY. Not only did he host us, he made perfectly beautiful paintings in which he destroyed for the video. You can see him in the video throwing red paint across his paintings. I would like to offer my condolences to those that were near to him. I know he will be missed. His art will live forever and his kindness will never be forgotten.

Este é um momento triste para mim. Fui informado há alguns dias que uma grande pessoa havia deixado esta terra no mês passado. Seu nome é Fonthor de Luca e ele era um artista incrível e verdadeiro cavalheiro. Conheci Fonthor em sua casa,onde ele foi gentil o suficiente para acolher toda a tripulação da produção de vídeo para o clip de vídeo SAY. Não só ele nos hospedar, ele fez pinturas perfeitamente lindo em que ele destruiu para o vídeo. Você pode vê-lo no vídeo jogando tinta vermelha em suas pinturas. Gostaria de oferecer minhas condolências àquelesque estavam perto dele. Eu sei que ele fará falta. Sua arte vai viver para sempre esua bondade nunca será esquecido.

Grammy winner Alan Sanderson and I attended the opening of the new colletion for the Brazilian fashion designer Bo.Bô. I strutted a flanel shirt and a smile. Vogue Brazil was there to snap a shot of Alan and I. Thanks Vogue for the props. 

The nice people at The Burning Ear took the time to say some very nice things about the song Come Home. We would like to thank them now for their words, time and burning ears. 

Jô Soares has been nice enough to host me for an interview and a few songs this coming tuesday. If you are tuned into Globo on tuesday night, I will be the guy with the guitar. Once again I have found myself in a wonderfull place. Calling Rio de Janeiro "home" for a little while, my friend Alan Sanderson and I are enjoying Brazilian hospitality while doing promotion for The Distance Between Us. We are still on schedule for a September release and will have some big news shortly. Until then we are enjoying new friends and lots of frango milanesa.
