The kind folks over at ♥thistune were nice enough to post the video of Red Sea Sky on their site. We give them many thanks, hugs, kisses and all other forms of ♥. 

Once again I have found myself in a wonderfull place. Calling Rio de Janeiro "home" for a little while, my friend Alan Sanderson and I are enjoying Brazilian hospitality while doing promotion for The Distance Between Us. We are still on schedule for a September release and will have some big news shortly. Until then we are enjoying new friends and lots of frango milanesa. 

The past few days have been an amazing experience in the studio. We have recorded a few new songs in the northeast of Brazil. Somehow, we met an amazing drummer by the name of Gledson Meira. Mr. Meira (AKA The Drum Machine) is a well known drummer in Brazil. Gledson won the Best Drummer in Brazil (BATUKA) contest twice in his career (you get the picture). It was great to have him sit in the session and we look forward to working with him again. 

We've returned to Brazil for some recording in the northern city of Joao Pessoa. We are here to visit Arthur Ferraz, owner of H2 studios and to lay down some tracks for an EP entitled All About Us. We continue to discover amazing talents in this musically rich country. Thank you Artthur for your hospitality!

Hello all. We have been working hard for the upcoming release of The Distance Between Us. We are scheduled to release the album sometime in September, though many are eager to hear a bit of the album. With that said, please have a listen to the song Red Sea Sky. Ahhh, San Francisco. Full of life, color and new ideas at the bottom of endless coffee cups. We have finished the mix of the new album entitled The Distance Between Us. Now just waiting to master. Look for an official release sometime around September. I would like to thank Jeff & Charlie from Hyde Street Studios for their support and the amazing vintage Neve that we used for the project. Alan Sanderson was manning the board with true vintage style. Looking forward to getting this music out soon. One million thankyou's to so many people. I will have to make a list!!!

The past few months have been full of creative moments mixed with tired nights and early mornings. We recorded a new album in Rio de Janeiro with some of Rio's best musicians. Currently in San Francisco mixing at Hyde Street Studios. The album is scheduled for release sometime in September. More updates soon.

The guys at RAEN were nice enough to post photos from our trip to Egypt last year. With everything going on in the middle east, it seems the timing is perfect. We hope things settle a bit in Egypt so we can return. By the way, if you are looking for shades to protect your eyes from the Egyptian sun, RAEN has you covered.

Wishing all the best to my good friend Alan Sanderson on winning a Grammy in 2010. Alan won for engineering the album Hello Hurricane by the band Switchfoot. Alan and I have worked a lot together in the past and are looking to future projects [hint-hint].
